Four Rivers International School held its Annual Silver Collection Donation Drive, bringing learners and staff together to support vulnerable children during the Christmas season.
From the proceeds of the Silver Collection donations were made to the Paediatric Ward of the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital and the Centre for Child Development Orphanage.
Items including soap, foodstuffs, and Samaritan’s Purse (gift-filled shoeboxes), were presented to the beneficiaries which brought joy, hope and lots of smiles to the faces of the children.
This initiative reflects the schools commitment to compassion, community service, and holistic education.
A missionary team from Christ for All Nations (CFAN), led by Evangelist Samuel Alimah Mensah from the UK, embarked on impactful Youth Crusades across over 50 pre-secondary schools in the Bolgatanga Municipality, Upper East Region of Ghana.
Under the theme “Making the Right Choices,” the team visited Four Rivers International School (FRIS) on Thursday, 11/12/25, where they shared the gospel with students using the inspiring “Little Boat” story. Many students responded by giving their lives to Christ, marking a powerful and memorable moment.
The session ended joyfully with a lively dance to the song “One Way Jesus.” 🙌✨
We are overjoyed to announce that Master Jed Zuri Yenongre, a brilliant 13-year-old student of Four Rivers International School, has been awarded a full educational scholarship by Eastwood Anaba Ministries — covering his journey from Junior High School all the way to university!
This extraordinary announcement was made during our just-ended 25th Anniversary and Graduation Ceremony held at Fountain Gate Chapel – Desert Pastures. Normally, our top-performing student receives a one-term scholarship, but this year, God had even bigger plans.
In a moment that moved many to tears, Rev. Eastwood Anaba declared:
“Can we change your award on this particular occasion to make it throughout his JHS and university?”
With cheers echoing through the auditorium, Jed received a scholarship that truly honors his hard work and excellence. He scored 831 out of 900, averaging 92.33% in the last academic year — a true reflection of dedication and discipline.
An emotional Jed shared:
“This award has made me really happy. All my hard work has finally paid off. Thank you to my teachers, my parents, and especially to Daddy, Rev. Eastwood Anaba. This scholarship means so much.”
His mother, Madam Ernestina Zuri, added:
“From JHS to university, we no longer have to worry. Four Rivers has shaped him not just academically, but spiritually and morally too. Even if I could afford the most expensive school, I would still choose this one.”
This heartwarming gesture by Eastwood Anaba Ministries reminds us why we do what we do — to nurture purpose-driven, Christ-centered leaders for Ghana and beyond.
